➢ Fisheries college will be setup at Kanyakumari, Tamilnadu
➢ Announced by Fisheries Minister D.Jayakumar
2) Milk Processing Plant (பால்பபாருள்கள் தயாரிக்கும் புதிய ஆலல):
➢ Will be setup at Virdunagar at cost of Rs.10 crore
3) Cow Ethnicity research center(மாட்டு இனம் ஆராய்ச்சி லமயம்:
➢ Will set up at cost of Rs.4 crore at Alambadi, Dharmapuri
4) Cauvery Water Management Authority (CMA):
➢ Constituted by Central government on June 01,2018
➢ to address the dispute over sharing of river water among Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Puducherry
➢ comprises a chairman, a secretary and 8 members (2 full-time and 2 part-time members, 4 part-time members from states
➢ Interim Chairman - U.P.Singh
➢ The Interstate River Water Disputes Act, 1956
➢ Article-262- Inter state water dispute
5) Sakhi Suraksha Advanced DNA Forensic Laboratory:
➢ India’s First Advanced Forensic Lab
➢ foundation stone laid at Central Forensic Science Lab, Chandigarh by Ministry of Women and Child Development
